These are ugly, awkward, unpopular and unnecessary cars. There’s not appreciating in value, and likely never will. But what they are is extremely unique. The Pulsar is a one-of-a-kind, a concept that was actually brought to market. An embodiment of 80’s creative thinking about how a car can fit a person’s dynamic lifestyle. Unlike anything else, with a modular roof, it was designed to be a cost-effective way users to meet their contradictory needs of utility and sportiness. This is much more of a museum piece as a case study of lifestyle design from the ’90s than a car one would have passion for.
Pop-up headlights FTW!
The interior looks great. I don’t see any tears or fading on the cloth seats and the steering wheel looks lightly used. Surprisingly, this example has be used a lot, have been driven over 166K miles.
From the listing
Very rare and historical Nissan Pulsar NX Sportbak for sale. The Sportbak is impossible to locate at this point in time. And to the best of my knowledge this is the only one for sale in the country.
It’s a modular design with a removable hatch. And also has T tops.
Interior is in good shape and the only modification is a Bluetooth stereo.
It’s a single cam car with an automatic transmission.
It’s runs great and the Ac is cold.
Clean title. Passed emissions and is currently registered.
It’s truly daily driver ready, however it’s also a definite collector item.
